About

As part of its Mission to Inspire, Empower, and Enable Wildlife Professionals in Canada the Canadian Section of The Wildlife Society (CSTWS) is launching a new initiative called North 100 Nord.  Modeled after The Wildlife Society’s successful ‘The 1000’ Program, the goal of the initiative is to encourage 100 Canadian Section members to each contribute a minimum of $100 a year.

Funding will support the CSTWS by building the capacity to grow and develop programs for wildlife professionals in Canada, including awards, scholarships, training, and educational programs, especially for students and early-career professionals.

By giving a tax-deductible gift of $100 annually, you can be part of North 100 Nord and support opportunities for Canadian wildlife professional development now and into the future.

Member Recognition

A new section will be added to the bi-monthly CSTWS newsletter where new contributors since the last issue will be revealed.  A new page on the CSTWS website will list all contributors during the current calendar year (January to December).  Any donors during 2022 will be kept on the webpage through the end of 2023.
